Vera Faye Zeller Obituary

Vera Faye Zeller passed away peacefully at home in Yuba City on February 1, 2017 at the age of 90. Faye was born on November 11, 1926 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Cecil and Lydia Morgan. She was the eldest of 10 children and moved to California at the age of 16.

She married her dear husband Glenn in 1998 and they had many happy years together, traveling all across the country as far as the Florida Keys, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Elk City, Oklahoma where she was born, visiting friends and relatives, and up and down the west coast traveling with our many trailer club friends. She liked to play pinochle with groups at Del Prado Mobile Home Park and the senior center.

She is survived by her Husband and two daughters, Debra Atkins of Meridian and Darla Vessey of San Diego. Faye was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was a very hard worker as a cashier for Safeway and drove large rice harvesters and other farm equipment, did census work and loved to cook.

After all the traveling was done, and life slowed down and we grew older together, gardening was another favorite she enjoyed watching her plants grow and watering them each morning.

Faye is also survived by two sisters Elaine Reynolds of Sutter and Betty jo Moseley of Yuba City and brothers Curtis Morgan of Roseville and Paul Morgan of Missouri. She leaves behind grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins who will cherish the memories she created with them.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 13 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Sutter Cemetery Visitors Center. Ben McGuffin will be officiating.
