Mom,I still find myself wanting to pick up the phone. It's so hard to believe it has been a year. I know you and dad are watching over all of us, you are so far, yet you are here, forever close in our hearts, easing our sorrows. Thank you for everything, you both instilled wisdom, love and understanding into our lives. Memories that will always be cherished and held dearly. Oh, Mother of Mine, I miss you and Pop completely. Mom, missing you more every day. I reach for the phone, reality hits me and I realize how much it really hurts to lose your mom, your best friend. Tears fill my eyes, my chest tightens. Time has not eased my sorrow, but I know your close, that you are watching and you will always hear my prayers. Your with dad now, safe, at peace and in heaven. Loved and always missed - your daughter

As we Honer our Mother
We will never forget our mothers face,
the sound of her voice,
We will never forget
the stories she told,
the traditions she handed down...
that let you know who you are.
We will never forget
the lessons she taught,
the things she stood for...
they are her gift and our legacy.
We will never forget,
and we will always know that we will
honor her every day in how we live and
who we are.

LOVE AND MISS YOU!

So sorry to hear about Vivian. We were cousins and I loved her and had her in my thoughts and prayers always. We hadn't got to see each other in years. Wish I could have seen her again. All of you take care of each other and stay close.

My sincere condolences to the five children. Douglas always had a lot of Vivian and Verna Lou stories he shared with me. Although I never got to know Vivian as well as I knew her sisters, I felt a kinship through those memories of Douglas's.

I miss Vivian a lot already. I am so proud of her two daughters who became her caregivers. Being a caregiver is a very tough job and
takes it own toll. This was definitely a labor of love .Granting
Vivian's last wish - to stay at home is a tribute to her love and life.
The best gift a child can give their parents, is to grow up and
become someone they are proud. of.
I love you all, please keep in touch with family.

Vivian was always there to provide a sanity check when the paralegals needed help keeping theirs' during all phases of the courts-martial we prosecuted. My time at Beale AFB Legal Office was better for knowing her and having her as a friend.

I hope she keeps looking out for all of us from up above.

God Blessed all of us by putting her in our lives.
