Walter Noble Glassel of Yuba City, CA, passed away June 22, 2013 at Fremont-Rideout Hospital. Born November 10, 1933 in Chillcothe, MO. A resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 20 years. He was a salesman, currently retired from Sears after 27 years.

Walter served in the Army from 1950 - 1953, and also served as a Medic in the Korean War.

He was a member of the Allegro Golden Bears RV Club.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Glassel; daughters: Virginia Pedersen, Cindy Marie, Tracy Green; son, Greg Glassel (Starla); step- sons: Steve Drabin, Jeff Drabin (Lynette), Bill Drabin (Ann Marie); 19 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren; 2 sisters: Dorothy Crawford and Betty Damon.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ruth Glassel, sisters Theresa Lange and Bessie Farris, brother James Glassel.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Lakeside Colonial Chapel, 830 D Street, Marysville.
