Wilbur Howard "Shorty" Henderson Obituary
Wilbur Howard "Shorty" Henderson passed away May 11, surrounded by family.

Howard "Shorty" was loved and admired by all that were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. He fought pulmonary fibrosis with military bravery.

Howard was a proud Veteran of the USAF. He was known for his athletic prowess on the golf course, bowling alley and everything he tackled in life.

He was also an avid traveler in life, particularly enjoying his trips to Hawai'i, South Korea, and England.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Dallas Tully of Lafayette, CO; devoted granddaughters Lindsay Tully of Boulder, CO, Sarah Tully of Prague, Czech, and Gerrie Newlin of Brownsburg, IN.

Howard "Shorty" is looking forward to joining his beloved Janet, who passed away from a sudden accident in 2011.

We will all miss his wit, extreme intelligence, compassion, and guidance.

A military service will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Sutter Cemetery.

Please join us in celebrating Howard's life dressed in Hawai'ian or golf clothes.
