William George Brockman Obituary

William George Brockman passed away February 13, 2017 in Sutter, CA. He was born in Yuba City, CA on September 26, 1947. He worked for P.G.&E. for more than 30 years, most recently at the warehouse outside Marysville, CA as a Materials Supervisor.

He had an infectious sense of humor, and he had turned the telling of bad jokes into an art form. He was a real history buff (especially local history) and even considered becoming a history teacher at one time. His knowledge of movies, television, and music from the 50s to the 70s was masterful--you didn't want to play Trivial Pursuit with him. He loved Westerns and Rock and Roll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chauncey Sidney Brockman and Mary Aileen Brockman (Burk), and his brothers, Jack Brockman and Roland Brockman.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Brockman (Basham); his sister, Robin Toth of Elk Grove, CA; his son, Jeff Brockman of Manteca, CA; his daughter, Michelle Medeiros of Clovis, CA; his daughter Jen Minton of Yuba City, CA, and 24 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at the Sutter Cemetery on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:00 am followed by a reception at the LDS church at 1470 Butte House Road in Yuba City.

"If you should ever leave me; though life would still go on, believe me. The world could show nothing to me. So, what good would living do me. God only knows what I'd be without you." God be with you till we meet again!
