William Thomas Keeney Obituary

October 23, 1945 – August 11, 2015

A loving husband and father, he is survived and dearly missed by his wife Deborah Keeney, his children Kelley Tracy (Brian), Kerry Kelley (Randy), Kristopher Keeney (Lorinda). Grandchildren Jesse Barba (Renee'), James Barba, Jasmine Barba, Brianne Tracy, Lindsey Clark (Brice), Sydney Chance (Ben), Madison Keeney Taws and Tanner Keeney. Great-grandchildren Brayden Clark and Lucas Clark.

A native of Sutter County, one of nine children born to Charles Edward Keeney and Minnie Mae Tackett, Bill was a lifelong member of Iron Workers Local 118 in Sacramento. He spent his career building bridges and structures in California, Utah, Texas, Washington, Oregon and the Guri Dam on the Caroni River in Bolivar, Venezuela.

Bill was a master of wit, sarcasm and practical jokes. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all, spending time with his family.

He will be truly missed by those that loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2015, at 11:00 am at the Yuba City Moose Lodge located at 205 S. Walton Avenue, Yuba City, CA 95993.
