IN LOVING MEMORY OF BARBARA DELL BEUTLER
The beloved jewel of our family left us on July 8, 2014. Her Father in Heaven has called her home. Her work here on earth is done, and she now joins her eternal family in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Barbara was born on June 12, 1929 in Emmett, Idaho. She married Wayne Beutler on May 14, 1947. Barbara, Wayne and their five children moved to Yuba City in 1960 where they are today. Barbara and Wayne started their business in 1962. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her whole life. She served many positions in the church. Barbara spent many years serving in Sunday school, where she dearly loved being with the teens of the church. Her calling to Relief Society President gave her great happiness to guide teens into young womanhood and eventually motherhood. She was a shining example to so many.
With the church, businesses, her husband, children and grandchildren, Barbara was a very busy woman, and a special person to many people in the community.
Barbara, a highly skilled conversationalist with high moral character, sparkled with wit and humor. She could tactfully charm anyone of us to keep the straight and narrow, if she felt we may have strayed. Never short of an opinion, she was articulate and well-versed and had a savvy way of making it comical and amusing . Mark Twaine said it so simply and fits our family so well. "My mother had a great deal of trouble with me, but I think she enjoyed it." Only a woman like Barbara could manage our family so gracefully.
Motherhood places her, who honors it's holy calling and service, next to the Angels. In the highest admiration we bow our heads to our Angel with the deepest of gratitude for the blessing we share in calling Barbara our MOTHER and GRANDMOTHER. We know you will be waiting for us when it is our turn, so until we meet again MOM.
She leaves behind her loving husband Wayne Beutler of 67 years. Her sons John (Susan) Beutler, Gary (Val) Beutler and Randy Beutler. Her daughters, Debra Beutler, and Judy (Kenny) Hill, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Verrel and Frankie Howard. Two sisters, Darlene Howard and Donnetta Vickerty.
Our family would like a special thank you for our mother's caregivers Lil, Ginger, Becky, and Edna.
The viewing will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 1:00 pm, followed by the services at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Stake Center on Butte House road in Yuba City.
