Darci Evans Bolander passed away October 16, 2012 in Littleton, CO of brain cancer. She was 58 years old.
Darci was born in Gridley, CA and lived most of her life in the Yuba-Sutter area. She was a 4-H member while she was growing up and a Song Leader at Sutter High before she graduated. She was a successful Senior Team leader for Cookie Lee Jewelry and a bookkeeper for Otto Trucking in Littleton, CO.
She is survived by Bruce Bolander, her husband of 22 years; sons, Billy Rohm of NY, and Davin Beumel of CA; stepson, Ben Bolander of AZ; brother, Burt Evans of CO; sister, Denise Evans of YC, CA; and 7 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Stiles; father, Lloyd Evans; and niece, Haley Marshall.
Darci was an inspiration to others by living every day filled with love, joy, strength, and hope and by sharing that energy with everyone she met. She had a beautiful smile and her laughter was contagious.
There will be a Celebration of Life in the Spring of 2013 when Darci will be laid to rest in Sutter Cemetery.
