Darwin (Bud) Trimble was born May 19, 1927, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and passed away December 31, 2012, in Indio, California. He was 85 years old.
Born to Arthur and Stina Rolufs Trimble, Bud grew up on the family ranch in Nicolaus, California, and graduated from Yuba College. He served in the US Navy during WWII aboard many ships, including the great battleship USS Iowa. Bud returned to Nicolaus to raise cattle and farm alfalfa, and for the last 30 years he grew walnuts. For over 55 years Bud was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was also very active in AA for over 37 years.
Bud was a wonderful father, step father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by his "bride" Nella Trimble; and his five children: Darwin (Buddy) Trimble Jr., Donna Regan, Richard Trimble, Susie (Tom) Redman, and Patricia (Mark) Trimble-Van Til. He is also survived by his step children: Marilynn (David) Addington, and Martha (Larry) Ruiz; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Janet Trimble Counts, and his granddaughter Heather Waggoner.
