Nancy Dale McCumber Obituary
Nancy Dale McCumber, 63, passed into her Heavenly Father's arms on February 27th, 2013 surrounded by family and friends.

She was born in Portland, Ore. on June 11, 1949, however was a lifelong resident of the Yuba Sutter area.

She is survived by one son Eric Wren, (Kate) 3 daughters Sharon McCumber, Sabrina McCumber and Katrina McCumber; 4 brothers, Lou McCumber (Karen), Jeffery McCumber (Suzi) Rocky McCumber (Di) Greg McCumber, 1 sister Cashalyn Gilliss (Steve) and nephew Allen McCumber (Tammy) whom she loved and cared for like a son, "Oma" to Lilly, Eden and Clover McCumber, 9 niece and nephews and many others (too many to mention by name) who would consider "Nan" their second mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bernadine McCumber and Ralph McCumber.

She was self employed as a Family Care Home provider for over 25 years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Marysville and also attended The Bride Church in Yuba City.

Nancy's love for all things family was apparent, as her door was continuously open to any family members in need. She provided love and care in many ways that only "Nana" could, especially to the young children.

Nancy was an avid collector and hobbyist of all things Disney, Elvis and Hawaiian. She was a seamstress like no other and creative in everything from crafts to cooking. Camping was her favorite vacation, predominantly on the Yuba River at Indian Valley, where she spent many summers creating memories with her family.

She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her, however her strong faith in Jesus Christ brings great comfort that she's now dancing with her Lord in Heaven. At Nancy's suggestion, family and friends may wear Lei's in remembrance of her to the service.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday March 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park. Viewing is scheduled from 8-10am Friday. A reception will follow the service at "The Bride" Church, 655 Colusa Ave., Yuba City.
