William Arthur (Art) Rodda, 92, of Sutter, CA, passed away July 30, 2013 at Rideout Memorial Hospital. Born March 25, 1921 in Merenisco, Michigan. A resident of the Yuba- Sutter area for 85 years. He was the owner of Rodda's Roost along with is wife, Estella for over 22 years.

Art served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II, and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.

A graduate of Sutter Union High School, and a member of the V.F.W. of Gridley. Art was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his daughter, Arlene Metcalf of Chester; step-daughters Joyce Smith of Yuba City and Barbara Byer of Placerville; step-son Doug Becker of Placerville; and numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, Estella Rodda in 1991.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Sutter Cemetery. Visitation will be at Ullrey Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
