Roland (Rolly) Hal Haynes, 81 of Sutter, CA passed away August 11, 2013 in Live Oak. He was born February 1, 1932 in Marysville, CA. He was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1950-1954.
Survivors include his daughter, Toni Haynes Fritz of Sutter, son-in-law Cliff Fritz of Browns Valley, brothers: Norman Dwayne Haynes of Sutter/Sacramento and Russell (Betty) Haynes of Roundup, MT, grandsons: Justin Fritz of Marysville and Tyler Johnson of Sutter, and his favorite granddaughter: Ashley Fritz of Yuba City.
Preceded in death by his parents: Edwin Haynes Jr and Hazel Close Cleveland, stepmother Paula Morehead Haynes, stepfather Harold Cleveland, half- sister Clara Haynes, and half-brother Larry Haynes.
Rolly was an avid horseman, hunter, fisherman, and story teller. He loved reminiscing about his days doing pump work for Close Lumber, his years spent working farm ground, and most of all his time spent hunting and camping. He enjoyed taking his family out to dinner and never missed an opportunity to recommend his favorite local restaurants (Marcello's, Lee's Canton, and Pattycakes Cafe) to anyone who would listen. He will be greatly missed.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
