To the Daddow family - Patricia and I went to several classes together at Chico State preparing to be teachers. It was a pressure cooker - it was tough and she made it easier for me by being my friend. I remember her telling me about the families she allowed to move in when YC evacuated. I remember her telling me about her boys in football. She seemed to be a powerhouse, a force for good. I just learned of her passing and I send my deepest condolences. She was a great friend during a very tough time. Love to you all.

I have wonderful memories of the Daddow boys growing up in Sutter with Patricia always running in four different directions getting the boys to all their activites. She was so proud of her boys and you could see the love and pride shine in her eyes. May they always remember that love and all that she gave to them during this most difficult time.

Mom,
I am at a loss for words... I love you and I miss you so much. I know these last few years had been tough for us all. We all kind of lost our way. But know that things are finally good again. Work is great and you'd love my place downtown here on the river. We did not always get along, and that may be an understatement, but know I love you and I know you always did the best you could. You always had our back growing up no matter how bad we screwed up. I'm sorry for being such a difficult son most of the time. But I'm back on the high road finally and I will make you proud once again. Tell my baby brother I miss him like crazy.

As I read through all the lovely things that each have written about "Patty" as I know her, I see what a difference she made in so many lives. I am her distant cousin and had the opportunity to spend time with Patty and her family when I was young. Even then she was so kind with such a giving quiet spirit. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time. Love Natalie Mathews (Morgan)

Loss for words, God that never happens... you just have a way of seeing right through the unnecessary chatter so I'll get right to the point. I am a better person because I have known you. You had grace and beauty that took command of any room. Though we are left with an emptiness -my hope is that someday we can fill that with loving memories of Chihuahuas in little knit sweaters, Charlie's beautiful garden and all the things that made you -you. I love you lady.

Daddow family, Patricia's kitchen was a welcoming, loving space. Her parties were exceptional. I remember confetti filled eggs for Easter, Christmas caroling in Sutter, and all the games we played: rummy cubes, banana grams and spot it. I will miss her.
