Dean Ingraham was a legacy. He was a gift to his parents when he was born on January 4, 1933 and continued to be a legacy to hundreds of people throughout his life until he went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 9, 2014.
Dean moved to the Yuba-Sutter area in 1981 with his wife Roberta (deceased May 2010). He worked with the Rideout Memorial Hospital in fundraising and estate planning and was especially known for bringing Bob Hope to town for a fundraiser. While employed in the Yuba-Sutter area, Dean was active in Rotary Club.
After retirement, Dean volunteered his time with A Woman's Friend. He was also very active in his church, Cornerstone Christian, serving on boards and leaving a legacy in the Men's Ministry. Dean also participated in Craftsmen for Christ.
His legacy continues on in his surviving children: Shelby & John Delello, Kimberlee Ingraham, Ted & Monica Ingraham and Heidi & Bart Young; grandchildren: Courtney Brooke & Samantha Delello; Roy, Alex, Haley & Jonathan Young; Samuel, Grace, Abigail & Sarah Ingraham and his great-granddaughters, Cleo & Mia Delello.
A Celebration of Dean's life and legacy will be held at Cornerstone Church, Yuba City, March 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm with a reception following.
