Lawrence Gene McCue
Larry McCue was born in Chamberlin, S.D. and grew up in the Midwest (Hawarden, Sioux Falls area). He played 3rd base for the Yankees Farm team. In 1950 he married Patricia Jevons of Clay Center, KS. They were married for 56 years. In 1955, Larry moved his wife and two daughters to California. He was a production manager for Pierson Linen Supply. When he retired, he and Pat traveled all over the United States in their RV. They joined Coachman International, where he was a District Rep.
In 2007, he married Darlene Jevons. And in 2008, he adopted his son Preston. They moved to Texas in 2012.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Patricia; daughter, Cindy Garigliano; his sister, Dolores Wood; and his parents, Raymond and Bertha McCue.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Darlene; his son, Preston of Orange, TX; his daughter, Kristi France (David) of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Summer Riddle (Steve) of Santa Rosa, CA, Karly Harrison of Vacaville, CA, Hayden France (Kendra) of Sioux Falls, SD, David France II (Sheila) of Sioux Falls SD, Angela Munson (Ryan) of Baltic, SD, Kimberlie Lofano (Dale) of Sioux Falls, SD; his great- grandchildren, Emily, Landen, Naomie, Madison and James; and a sister, Coyleen Baxter of Arizona.

Visitation will be Monday evening at Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden IA, for family from 5 to 6, visitors from 6 to 8. Funeral will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Western Ave. in Sioux Falls at 1 p.m. Tuesday, immediately following will be the funeral procession to Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden where a Military service will be held.
