Christopher J. Wilfahrt Sioux Falls- Christopher Wilfahrt, 49, died Thur., July 30, 2015. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Tue., Aug. 4 at St. Lambert Catholic Church. Visitation begins at 6 PM Mon., Aug. 3 at George Boom Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Sioux Falls, where the family will greet friends from 6-7 PM followed by a Liturgical Wake Service at 7 PM. Christopher J. Wilfahrt, son of Cyril and Christie (Otterness) Wilfahrt, was born Nov. 5, 1965 in Sioux Falls. He grew up there and graduated from Lincoln High School. Christopher worked at the Pizza Hut on 10th Street for many years. He lived and made his home at Achieve and Sioux Vocational prior to moving to Dakotabilities. Christopher had many interests but especially enjoyed music, movies, and arts and crafts projects. Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Christie Wilfahrt, Sioux Falls, SD; siblings, Annamarie Wilfahrt, Chaska, MN, Jeffrey (Susan) Wilfahrt, South Hamilton, MA, Mark Wilfahrt, Matthew Wilfahrt, Kurt Wilfahrt and Joe (Emily Harris) Wilfahrt, all of Sioux Falls; nieces, Dana Wilfahrt, South Hamilton, MA and Amy Labo, Tupelo, MS; and Emily and Maiya Labo. Williams, Marie  
Marie Williams Marie Dysart-Williams, 72, of Sioux Falls, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Avera Dougherty Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Ave. Marie Yvonne Elizabeth Dysart, daughter of Lawrence and Lettie (Shaw) Dysart, was born June 22, 1943 in Atchison, KS. The family moved to Sioux Falls in 1946. She attended St. Joseph Cathedral High School. Marie was united in marriage with Larry Williams on June 22, 1961 in Pipestone, MN. They moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1967. Marie attended Minneapolis Vo-Tech and learned the trade of Upholstery which she did as a career for 34 years until her retirement in 2012 due to her health. She was the owner and instructor for Women at Large Exercise Studio in Minneapolis. Her husband, Larry, passed away on July 14, 2004. Marie had served as President for the Sioux Falls Chapter of the NAACP, and had run as a candidate for the House of Representatives. She was an instructor for Caring Hands of Hope which was a program to instruct prisoners the craft of upholstery. Grateful for having shared her life are her seven children, Paula Haywood, Minneapolis, MN, Juanice Williams, Minneapolis, MN, Sondra Williams, Denver, CO, Dolores Baker, Aurora, CO, Barbara (Rob) Sathoff, Fargo, ND, Brian Williams, Minneapolis, MN, Shang Williams, Minneapolis, MN; 23 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; eight siblings, Cathy Boykin, Minneapolis, MN, Carlotta (Mark) Willard, Lake Odessa, MI, Robert (Gloria) Dysart, Sioux Falls, SD, Junior (Tonya) Fraizer, Des Moines, IA, Wendell Shaw, Sioux Falls, SD, Rita (T.T.) Moore, Minneapolis, MN, Paul (Pam) Dysart, Tea, SD, Johnetta Dysart, Hopkins, MN; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents, Lawrence and Lettie Dysart; a sister, Doris Dysart; and two brothers, Larry Dysart and Lloyd Jackson.
