Madison, SD - BeEtta Sinclair, age 97, died at Golden Living Center on April 22, 2013.
BeEtta Catherine Palmer was born on March 4, 1916 at Gregory, SD to Daniel and Christina (Rasmussen) Palmer. She married Rex Edward Sinclair at San Louis Obispo, CA on June 18, 1943. He died in 1972.
She is survived by four sons - Allen (Joyce) of Yankton, SD, Clark (Connie) of Madison, Roger of Northglen, CO and Paul (Jeanne) of Milbank, SD. One daughter - Sharlene (Kent) Dell of Waukesha, WI. 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. One brother - Ralph (Luella) Palmer of Parkston, SD.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother- William.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Madison with Rev Ryan Mutzenberger officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Gregory, SD.
She grew up on the family homestead in Gregory County graduating from Gregory High School. She received her Bachelors degree in education from Northern State College in Aberdeen. She taught country school in Gregory before moving to Madison in 1969 where she taught the developmental reading program at Washington Elementary School.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, 60 years member of the Order of Eastern Star, Red Cross Gray Ladies, Life member of SD Retired Teachers, American Legion and VFW
