Betty A. Schuster

Betty A. Schuster was born in Freeman, SD in 1952 and passed away March 11, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Tri Valley High School in 1970, received her BS in Sociology from Idaho State in 1978 and a Masters of Education from South Dakota State in 1989.

Betty began her career serving Air Force airmen and their families in 1987 at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota and went on to Air Force Space Command HQ in Colorado Springs, CO and USAF Reserve Command HQ in Warner Robbins, GA. At the time of her death she was Chief, Airman, Family and Community Operations Branch at Randolph Air Force Base.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband Gene, Schertz, TX, brother Don, Washington State, brother Ed Colton, SD, Sister Pat, Sioux Falls, SD and Sister Sharon, Freeman, SD, daughter Tonya and Scott, Rapid City, SD and two loving granddaughters Mollie and Hallie, Rapid City, SD, sister-in law Marilyn, Colorado and brother-in-law Duane, Rapid City, SD.

She is also survived by her extended Air Force Family around the world, and it can be truly stated that Betty touched the lives of everyone she met.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013, 2:00PM at the Schertz First Baptist Church 600 Aero Avenue Schertz, Texas 78154.
