Dolores Jeanette Weatherwax

Dolores "Dory" Weatherwax was born September 24, 1924 to Chas and Hilda Preheim in Freeman, South Dakota. She graduated from Freeman High School and attended Yankton College and the University of South Dakota.

On December 26 1946, she married Frank King Weatherwax and they enjoyed 46 years together. Dory was a member of the First Congregational Church and was active with the Child's Care Auxiliary and her PEO chapter. Her love of music spanned her lifetime. Nothing pleased her more than to have a book in hand with a symphony playing in the background.

Forever grateful for her constant love are her children; Frank Charles "Charlie" (Mary)Weatherwax, Scott Weatherwax and Dione (Jody) Burnett, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and her sister Marjorie (Al) Pitts.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Frank Weatherwax, brother Charles Preheim, and her parents.
