Mary Pearl Lingor

Mary Pearl Lingor passed away of natural causes on August 23, 2014 at the age of 93 at the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills, MN. She was born on 11-18-1920 in Indianola, IA the daughter of Claude and Ritha Myrtle Fear. She spent most of her years growing up in Aberdeen, SD, where met and married Robert Lingor, her husband of 66 years. They met at a dance and spent their adult and retirement years dancing. Their memorial marker states, "Dancing in Heaven". She worked in the McKennan Hospital insurance billing dept. for 30 years. They had four children.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Greg) Kesterson, sons, Patrick (Carla), Joseph (Vicki), grandson, Alexander Lingor, granddaughters, Gina (Tim), Jeanette (Bill) and great granddaughters, Jasmine and Gena; her brothers, Harry and Ed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, daughter, Judy, her parents, a brother, Herb and sisters, Betty and Carol.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Tuff Memorial Home for the wonderful care she received for the past 2 years; the volunteers from Hills, Luverne and surrounding area; the Church of St Catherine's, Risen Savior and St. Mary's.

Her visitation will be Wednesday, August 27th with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, August 28th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Sioux Falls. Burial will be at St. Michaels Cemetery. The family wishes that memorials be directed to the Sioux Falls Humane Society.
