MADISON - Judy Adcock, age 75, died Tues., Feb. 19, 2013, at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls.
Judith Faye House was born Jan. 6, 1938, at Huron, SD, to Clifford and Cassie (Collins) House. She was raised and educated at Rapid City, SD and Riverside, CA, and married Richard B. Adcock on January 8, 1965, at Chariton, IA. They lived in Des Moines, IA, Riverside, CA, Sioux Falls and Pierre before moving to Madison in 1986. Judy was the Site Manager of 60's Plus Dining in Madison until she retired May 30, 2005. Judy was a member of First Presbyterian Church; she loved to bake, and played organ and accordion.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles "Buzz" and Ralph House; and one sister, Audrey Rodriguez. Survivors include one son, Richard G. (Melanie) Adcock of Sioux Falls; one daughter, Julie (Tom) Bagley of Newman Grove, NE; four grandchildren; six sisters, Doris Hatfield of Denver, Jean Ewer of Riverside, Bernie (Chuck) Tatum of Oregon, Ruth House of Washington, Becky (Rick) Blackabee of Colorado Springs, and Kathy Agnos of Beaumont, CA; and one brother, David House of Riverside.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday at Ellsworth Funeral Home with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation begins noon Friday with the family present at 7 PM at Ellsworth Funeral Home. Condolences at www.ellsworthfh.com.
