JoAnn Matthies Obituary
JoAnn Matthies, age 74, of Hartford, SD, passed away suddenly of natural causes Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Family will greet friends 4:00 - 7:30 pm, with a prayer service at 7:30 pm, Friday, December 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hartford. A Celebration of New Life Service begins at 10:00 am Saturday at the church, with burial in the churchyard cemetery.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Ray; her children, Susan (Bryan) Kelley, Hartford, Brad (Teresa) of Brandon, SD, Ben (Michelle) of Hartford; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Alfred (Leatha) Satterlee, Deadwood, SD, Warren (Suzy) Satterlee, Spearfish, SD; her sister, Sandra (Jerry) Newman, Rapid City, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claire and Helen; brother, Doyle; and sister in-law, Gail Satterlee. www.millerfh.com
