Rich - raising a glass of the '77 Cerbois armagnac in your honour. Thank you for your counsel and your friendship. Good laughs and some otherwise tricky claim work much easier. You're missed.

Rich and Dick were friends since grade school, through high school and beyond, and I met Rich in high school. He insisted that Dick go out with me, and we ended up getting married. Rich was always funny, fun and crazy. It was so great that he enjoyed his life to the fullest, and all the great pictures show how he was loved. It is terribly hard to say goodbye to someone who was such a happy part of our life. When we got married, Rich was the first person we told. We send our deepest sympathies to your family, and please know you have been in our prayers. We are sure Rich is laughing in Heaven. Dick Simpson, LTHS Class of 1964, Jan Major Simpson, LTHS Class of 1965. Rest in Peace,Rich.

Carol, my heart goes out to you my dear. Of course also to you, fine young men--Brett, Corey, and Mike. A day, or just a moment, with Richard always boosted my spirits. He was kind, generous, understanding, and jolly. A fine, trustworthy confidant. Damn good at claims too! A fantastic friend I will miss terribly. He was my friend; he is my friend; and he will always be my dear, dear friend!

Dear Carol and boys, it was a very sad day for me and the kids when we heard Richard had passed. We all have such fond memories and funny stories of Richard especially at Nicole's wedding weekend. We are so fortunate to have been able to share in such a special weekend with "Uncle Richie". I'm so glad that I was able to spend time with him recently. May he rest in peace. Love, Nan, Stephen, Nicole and Mikey.
