Family-Placed Death Notice
HALL, Fenwick Fenwick Hall of Loganville GA passed away on August 22, 2013. He was born on October 17, 1921 in Monongalia County, West Virginia. His loving daughters Kathryn Hall (of Lilburn, GA), Jane Hall Richards (Greg, of Ellicott City, MD) and son Fenwick A. Hall and daughter in law Anita Hall (of Bethel Park, PA) were by his side. He was preceded in death by his much loved wife of 63 years Ruth Everly Hall (2005). He was a devoted and fun loving PapPap to seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He will remain forever in the hearts of so many friends and family. He is also survived by a daughter Linda Squarcette. Fenwick, with his wife Ruth, moved to Gwinnett County in 1995. He was active in local senior organizations, including Loganville Seniors, Snellville Senior Friends and Keenagers. He was a member of the Grayson United Methodist Church. He was an avid league bowler with many close friends at Snellville Lanes for years. He was a veteran of WWII and was awarded two bronze stars for service in the Southern France, African, and Rome-Arno Campaigns. A memorial service celebrating his life is being planned for October 2013. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Fenwick's memory to the Society of Humane Friends of GA, an animal rescue organization, P.O. Box 1416, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, www.sohfga.com. Fenwick enjoyed seven wonderful years with his dog Smokie, who he rescued through SOHFGA. So sorry to hear of Uncle Fenwick's passing.I actually just learned of it the other day or I would've written sooner. Lots of fond memories in Star City. Wish we all would've kept in touch over the years. Praying for everyone and sending blessings and love.
