Dear Atkins Family,
I was sad to hear the news of the passing of Ms.Ruth. She was an inspriation to me growing up at East Point Christian. She and Ken were always so dear to my family and loved all the children that went into her care in the nursery. Many memories we will keep and I will pray for the family. Knowing the feeling of the loss of a mother, my heart goes out to the boys. What makes it easier to bear is knowing that she has now joined many others in the wonderful Mansion over the hill top and she is helping get it ready for the rest of us. May God bless your family.

We have lost a wonderful Christian Lady. Aunt Ruth was always a part of my life. We were "buddies" when I was around 4 and 5 years old. She and I did a lot of things together while she waited for Uncle Kenneth to return from his duties in WWII. I will cherish these memories even more now. I have my first pair of earrings that she gave me and a ring with an E on it. I am proud that I was given her name. I will miss our long phone talks. I know she was so proud of all her "boys" and of the girls they married.
She was always so kind to my children.
Uncle Kenneth, I know your heart is breaking, but I also know that you beleive in eternal life and we must all remember and rejoice that she has seen Jesus face to face and will suffer no more.
With deepest sympathy
