Dear Sexton and Ellen,
I was deeply saddened to hear about Sidney's death. He played such a vital part in the life of Columbia Seminary and also in the lives of all who knew him.
I always felt a special bond with him because we both were from Virginia and were graduates of Hampden-Sydney College. As Charlie Cousar pointed out in his article about Sidney, he did so much for Columbia Seminary.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May the God of all comfort be with you this day. Gail also joins me in expressing her grief.
Yours in Christ,
Bob Ramey
