Rita K. Adams, of Sharpsburg, died May 16, 2006. She was retired senior bookkeeper at Bank of Coweta. Survived by husband, James A. Adams; sister, Frances K. Wilcox, Ocala,FL; 3 nieces, Patricia L. Gibbs, Inverness, FL; Jackie W. Kelly, Shelbyville, KY; Kellie Kennedy, Miami Lakes, FL; 1 nephew, John L. Kennedy, III, Seffner, FL; 7 great nieces and great nephews. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22 at St. Andrews in the Pines Episcopal Church with The Reverend Richard D. Brigham officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winship Cancer Institute, 1365C Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30322. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, 770-631-9171.
