McGEE, Miriam* - Alpharetta  
McGEE, Miriam Miriam Sammons McGee, of Roswell, Georgia, age 67, passed away, July 4, 2015. Miriam was born on January 28, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The daughter of David and Mary Sammons, Miriam grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Brown High School and Georgia State University where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She was a member of Rivercliff Lutheran Church, Dunwoody, Georgia. Miriam was very active in supporting animal rights and loved her many dogs and cats. Additionally, she was an avid tennis player and served as President as well as Chairman of the Board of ALTA. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Miriam is survived by her husband, Charles (Chuck) F. McGee, two daughters, Priscilla McGee Findlay, and Mary Kathleen (Katie) McGee Hall, four grandchildren, Lily Hall, Chase Hall, Harrison Findlay and Eliza Jane Findlay, sisters, Karen Sammons Lewis and Melissa Sammons Hughes, nieces and nephews, Chad Lewis, Lindsay Lewis, Kimberly Hughes, Kathleen Hughes and Christopher Hughes, and last but not least her 3 spoiled, rotten French Bulldogs, Babette, Francesca, and Dominque. A funeral service will be conducted by Roswell Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2015 with visitation from 2:00 - 3:00 and funeral service at 3:00. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell, Georgia. Immediately after interment, the family invites you to a reception at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Georgia SPCA, 1175 Buford Hwy, Suite 109, Suwanee, GA 30024.

MOELLER, Peter J Peter J Moeller, age 85 of Duluth, Georgia passed away July 3rd at his home following a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his dearly missed wife Jo Ann and his brother Tom. He is survived by his four sons, Jim, (Patty ) of Dacula GA, Scott (Debbie) of Loganville, GA David, (Diane) of Rosemount, MN and Steve (Claudia) of Atlanta, GA. He was loved by his grandchildren, Brent, (Crystal) Ashley, Andy, Abby, Sam, Teddy, Maggie, Laura & Michael, Christina & Nick and great granddaughter Scarlett. Also survived by his sister Jane and sister in law Holly, niece Kim Bender & nephews Tom & Jeremy Wirth. He will be missed by dear friends Becky Beal & Jeanne King. Services will be held 10:30 am Thursday, July 9th at St. Benedict Catholic Church 11045 Parsons Rd, Duluth, GA 30097 Visitation will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home 3150 Lawrenceville Highway Tucker, GA 30084 from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8th. Nable, Dr. Raymond Daniel*  
NABLE, Dr. Raymond Daniel "Dr. Dan" Dr. Raymond Daniel Nable, known affectionately for decades by his family, friends and patients as "Dr. Dan", went to be with the Lord on July 5th, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Orlando, FL on April 21, 1934, Dan grew up there as he liked to say, "BDW" - Before Disney World. He was the only child of Raymond and Oradell Nable. After attending the University of Florida he received his dental degree from the Emory University School of Dentistry in 1958. Following his graduation from Emory, he completed an internship at the US Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA., then served as a dental officer on the aircraft carrier, USS Intrepid. During his time in the US Navy he married Ann, his beloved wife of 54 years. In 1961 he returned to Atlanta to establish his private practice from which he retired in 2006. His goal was always to treat his patients with care, concern for their comfort and excellence in Dentistry. He was an active participant in professional organizations as a member of The American Dental Association, The Georgia Dental Association where he was an Honorable fellow, The Northern district Dental Society, and the Hinman Dental Society. He was a Fellow in The American College of Dentists, The International College of Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry. He served as President of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry. He volunteered his services at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic for 48 years and served as a member of the Board of Directors there. He was a part-time Clinical Instructor at the Emory University School of Dentistry from 1962 until 1977. He was a member of Peachtree Rd United Methodist Church for 13 years, served on the Board of Stewards there, sang in the choir and enjoyed participating as an actor in several musical productions. His love of music followed him to Chalcedon Presbyterian Church where he served as Choir Director and Orchestra Leader, composing several pieces of music and serving the community to the glory of God. He enjoyed setting Psalm 100 to music and the choir sang this every Sunday as the Call To Worship. He later moved to Mount Vernon Baptist Church where he was active in the music program, prayer groups, the adult Sunday school, the Evangelism and other committees, and a Deacon. He served in the Scouting organizations and in his sons' PTSAs. In addition to music, his hobbies were woodworking, gardening and travel. His favorite relaxation at the end of the day was working in the garden he created at his home. His travel adventures took him to all of the continents except Antarctica. His love for God, family, life and nature defined him. Loved by so many he will be sorely missed. He is survived by his loving wife Ann, his sons Raymond Daniel Nable Jr. and Richard Austin Nable, his grandchildren Danielle, Erin, Christopher, Austin, James (Anne), Rebecca (Virlyn), two great-granddaughters Addilyn and Briella, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Diane Austin, and nieces and nephew Susan, Cathy and Tim. The family also wishes to thank his caregiver and friend Charles Tonic for his loving patience, concern and excellent care over the past 9 months. Visitation will be held at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 on Wednesday, July 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with Celebration of Life Service officiated by the Reverend Brad Thayer on Thursday, July 9th, at 2:00 PM at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 850 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30327. Burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church or Wears Valley Ranch, 3601 Lyon Springs Rd, Sevierville, TN 37862-8257

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Richard Owens, Sr. and is survived by her daughter, Sandy Owens Adams and her husband Mike of Marietta; son, John Richard (Rick) Owens, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Gant Adams, Corbin Adams (Jen), Amanda Banks (John), Laura Baker (Mike), John R. Owens, III (Amelia) and David Owens; great grandchildren, Collier Adams, Asher Adams, Greyson Adams, James Baker, Caroline Baker, Tommy Banks and John R. (Jack) Owens, IV.
