BOGGS, Carolyn Beach* - Sandy Springs  
BOGGS, Carolyn Beach Carolyn Beach Boggs, of Atlanta, Georgia died September 23, 2016. She was born January 18, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Donald Deneen Beach and Carrie Foley Beach. She is predeceased by her husband and an infant son. She graduated from North Fulton High School and attended William & Mary where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. Mrs. Boggs was the Buyer and Bridal Consultant at Davison-Paxon Co. (now Macy's) from 1945 to 1951, when she married James Emory Boggs at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, October 1951. For ten years, (1981 to 1991) Mrs. Boggs was the receptionist at The Shepherd Spinal Center. She is survived by son James Patrick Boggs and wife Katherine, daughter Carrie Boggs Wegener and husband Mark, son William Timothy and wife Terri. Mrs. Boggs was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Beau, Anna Boggs Fleming (Peter), and Katherine Boggs, Caroline, Christopher, and Emory Wegener, Cara and Liam Boggs, brother, William "Bill" and wife Beverly "Bear" Beach and treasured in-laws. The family will receive friends Monday, September 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4465 Northside Dr., NW, Atlanta, GA 30327. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, 760 Pollard Blvd. SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30315.

BRYAN, Robert Roy* - Cumming  
BRYAN, Robert Roy Robert Roy Bryan, 48, of Suwanee passed away on September 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, William Bradford Bryan, Jr. Born in Atlanta on February 2, 1968, Roy was a graduate of Marist School and the University of Florida, where he received a B.S. in Economics. He was a member of Delta Chi fraternity and a HUGE GATOR FAN! Roy was the president of AMP Recruiting. His hobbies being college football, poker and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his mother, Elizabeth Perry Bryan, brother, William Bradford Bryan, III and sister, Rebecca Lane Bryan Brown. Roy leaves behind two children, Kempton Burkett Bryan and Maren Elizabeth Bryan and ex-wife Lori Gay Burkett along with nieces Jessica Bryan, Kayse Bryan and Victoria Brown and nephews Roger Brown and Wesley Bush. Lifelong best friends include Chuck Kelly, Todd Valentine, Bob Rowe, Stewart Calhoun , Gary Johnson, and David Phelps. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 25th at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pueblo Pintado Mission Trip Fund, Sugarloaf United Methodist Church, 1795 Old Peachtree Rd., Duluth, GA 30097. CARRYL, Venice* - Decatur  
CARRYL, Venice Huckabee Venice Huckabee Carryl, of Decatur, GA passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016. Mrs. Carryl was born in Atlanta, GA on September 8, 1921 and was the daughter of William Tarpley Huckabee and Mattie Foster Huckabee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Mallary Carryl III, her parents, and one brother, John William Huckabee, who died in infancy. Venice was graduated from Girls' High School in Atlanta and, following World War II, met Frank to whom she was married on June 16, 1945. They moved to Decatur where they continued to live. Venice served as a secretary with insurance companies and as an assistant librarian at Decatur High School. She was a 66-year active member of Decatur Presbyterian Church and loved her family and friends. Venice had a special place in her heart for animals and for knowledge, even learning German from a Rotary exchange student who lived with them one year. Venice is survived by a number of cousins including the Rev. Dr. Fred A. Holbrook who enjoyed visiting with her in her final years. She cherished the friendships of Anne and the late Eddie Fowlkes, their daughter, Martha Fowlkes Erickson (Peter) and son, Shep; Sue and John Bingeman; and Forsythia Chang Ronin. In much of her final year, loving and selfless care was provided by Sherrika Peoples who went far beyond the line of duty to serve and love Venice. A memorial service will be held in the Decatur Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Decatur Presbyterian Church, 205 Sycamore Street, Decatur, GA 30030. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
