WOODY, Anne Rutherford Anne Rutherford Woody of Webster Groves, Mo. passed away at Laclede Nursing Home Feb. 17th, 2013 at 9:00 am. Anne was born in Atlanta, Ga. on July 20, 1924. She was a very loving mother and is survived by four children, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren: Patricia Belshe Webster Univ. adjunct professor Webster Groves, Mo. married to Dr. Robert B. Belshe Professor at St. Louis University School of Medicine parents of grandchildren Bonnie A. Belshe and Robert R. Belshe married to Sandy Belshe parents of two great grandchildren Robert F. and Nyla Mae, Mike Woody retired from Yellow Trucking Dallas, Ga. father of Carol, George Woody Automotive engineer Anaheim, Ca. previously married to Beate Woody parents of grandchildren Sabrina Woody and Alex Woody, and Priscilla Sinclair State Highway Traffic Safety Officer the state of Montana. Anne obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Huntington College, Montgomery, Al (class of 46). She lived, worked, and raised her family in Atlanta, Ga. where she spent most of her life and was married to George D. Woody of George D. Woody Assocs. Her love of education and reading lead her to a lifetime of political engagement in the Democratic Party. Anne was cremated as she wished at Gerber Funeral Home, Webster Groves, Mo. A small family memorial service is planned for Monday July 29 in Atlanta, Ga. Contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation in her name.
