GREENBLATT, Edward EDWARD LANDE GREENBLATT Edward Lande Greenblatt passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family October 23, 2012 in Blacklick, Ohio. He was born March 17, 1939, in Augusta, GA, to the late Robert and Gwen Greenblatt. His immediate surviving family is composed of wife, Sherry Greenblatt; daughter, Susan Greenblatt Lunt; son-in-law, George Robert Lunt; and beloved granddaughters, Annabelle Lynn Lunt and Julia Mae Lunt. Edward graduated from Avon Old Farms School in Avon, CT, and from Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, AL. He held law degrees from Emory University School of Law and New York University School of Law. After service with the United States Department of the Treasury, he joined the firm of Haas Holland & Levison of which he became a partner and some years later formed Lipshutz Greenblatt Attorneys at Law. Edward served as President of The Temple on Peachtree St. and held his Jewish Heritage dear. He was a philanthropist, community leader and gave freely of his time and skills to many organizations. Edward retired to Blacklick, Ohio, in the fall of 2011 to spend his remaining life with his family. We are very blessed to have had Edward in our lives. He was truly loved and we will miss his laughter and vitality for life. His heart was as large as his intellect and knew no boundaries to his kindness. We remember him as a husband, father, grandfather, counselor, golfer, convertible driver, book lover, French fry guzzler, childhood sweetheart, and friend.
