Family-Placed Death Notice

TAYLOR, Dr. Edward Dr. Edward Malcolm Taylor, 67, died of a heart attack while working at his property. He did not suffer and was doing what he loved. The World has lost a pioneer of veterinary medicine and dentistry. Dr. Taylor was a 1971 graduate of the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine, a Fellow and Past President Academy of Veterinary Dentistry, and Diplomate to the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. As he continued his veterinary dentistry case-work he dedicated much of his spare time volunteering at various animal rescue centers, including the Belize City Zoo, where he performed dentistry on jaguars. Dr. Taylor is survived by his wife Lynne, brother Terry, sons Benjamin and Patrick, and grandchildren Colette Suzanne and Hunter Edward Taylor. Roper Funeral Home & Crematory of Jasper, Georgia.
