COPELAND, Glenn Nov. 28, 1942 - March 4, 2013 Glenn D. Copeland, 70, was born on November 28th, 1942 to Ralph A. Copeland, Sr. and Lavarah C. Fitzpatrick of Dunwoody, Ga. Glenn passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at his home in Miami, Fl. Survived by his wife, Esther of Miami, FL., his eldest brother Ralph A. Copeland, Jr. (wife Martha) of Melbourne, Fl., 5 children, and 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 stepchildren of Miami, Fl.. During his life, Glenn graduated from Roswell High in 1960 and shortly thereafter enlisted in U.S. Army
Reserves for 7 years. He was an active member in the local Masonic Hall many years, and always found time for coaching basketball, swimming, diving, and baseball. Glenn retired from Consolidated Freightways as the Southeastern Divisional Sales Manager, soon after he settled in Miami, Fl. for the next 11 years. Glenn enjoyed his yard work, fishing, golf, and most of all, grilling out in the backyard watching College football or whatever golf tournament was currently on. He never stopped until the day he passed and for that his family will admire him always. His memory will live on but he will be missed in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th at Green Lawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Ga. 30076.
