Family-Placed Death Notice
DOTSON, Sr., Henry Henry (Hank) Wesley Dotson, Sr., age 79, went to his eternal home on March 21, 2013 after a valiant struggle with Alzheimer's. Henry was born in Savannah, GA on October 28, 1933 with a family of eight brothers and sisters and attended Benedictine Military Academy and later the University of Georgia. He was an avid UGA Bulldog fan and a skillful athlete of many sports. A witty man, he loved the theatre and music of all genres. But most of all he loved his children, his grandchildren and his wife of 35 years, Gloria. He is survived by wife, Gloria Henry Dotson; children: Karen Dotson Ball (Scott and Melissa Holmes, Adam Ball), Terri Dotson Beck (Charles and Elizabeth), Henry Wesley (Debra) Dotson, Jr. (Brian and Christopher), and Lisa Dotson (Wes) Aaron (Michael and Nikki); Stepdaughter: Susan (Ken) Woods (Brian and Daniel Patton) and Stepson: Steve (Samantha) Schick. Visitation Saturday, March 23rd, 1:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at H. M. Paterson & Son-Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road NE, Sandy Springs. Remembrances may be made to the GA Chapter Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.

Gloria, I am saddened to learn of Hank.s passing. I have a Coousin who is a num that taught Hank in Savanna many years ago that was very fond of him. I'll tell her of our loss and she will have him in "Wasket of Payers" My love to y0u and those presous childredn.
