Family-Placed Death Notice

ANDERSON, Jack Jack Edward Anderson, 71, of Atlanta, GA passed away on Monday, January 24th. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.V. Anderson and Katharine Burson, and his brother, Jerry. Jack's burdens have been lifted! He was born in Fairfield, AL and played baseball for and graduated from Auburn University in 1961. He served in the Air Reserve Guard when his unit was activated during the Berlin Crisis in 1961. Jack later organized and was president of Citizens Bank in Talladega, AL in 1971, before becoming president of Capital City Bank in Hapeville, GA in 1974. He entered the commercial real estate business in 1982 before starting Jack Anderson & Associates, Ltd., in 1987. He worked successfully in the real estate business up until his passing. Jack was a member of First Baptist Church in Atlanta. He was an avid tennis player and loved his family and friends. Due to his faith in Jesus, he was always positive and uplifting to his family and many others. He is succeeded by his beloved wife Patricia; her parents Josephine and the late Carmen Sommariva; her sister, Arlene Dailey; his son Taylor Anderson; his daughters: Andrea and Vince Klinges, Allison and Joel Dudman, and Ashley and J. Paul Duncan; and seven beautiful grandchildren: Anna, Austin and Laura Dudman, Heather, Holly and Katie Klinges, and Carmen Duncan. A funeral service will be held at Roswell Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26th at 2 pm, with visitation from 12 noon until 2pm. Family arrangements are under the care and direction of Roswell Funeral Home.
