Family-Placed Death Notice

Jeffrey Ralph Allen, age 45 of Alpharetta, died suddenly on October 5, his birthday. Jeffrey was a life-long resident of Fulton County and graduated from Milton High School in Alpharetta in 1977. Jeffrey and his wife, Judy Hawkins Allen are owners of the Pumpin' Iron Pro Shop on Alpharetta Highway, in Roswell. Jeffrey was a life-long enthusiast of body building and was well known and respected in the Atlanta area for his participation and support of the sport. In 1993 Jeffrey was honored to win first place in the Open Light-Heavyweight Coastal USA. In recent years Jeffrey served as a judge in many body building contest in the Atlanta area. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Vandiver Allen. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy and his parents, Ralph and Marion Allen, Duluth, GA; sister, Lisa Reuland and niece, Jessica Reuland, Alpharetta; brothers, Van Allen, Buford, GA and Rick Allen, Gainesville, GA; as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, Main Street, Alpharetta, GA at 2pm Friday, October 8, 2004. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, from 6pm to 9pm at Roswell Funeral Home. In addition to flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association, P.O.
