Family-Placed Death Notice

LYNDA HOLLADAY ADAMS Lynda Holladay Adams of Atlanta died December 31, 2006 after a long and courageous battle against breast cancer. Lynda was a native of Atlanta, who grew up at the Georgian Terrace and later at Ansley Golf Club. Her beloved father, Jimmy, was the resident manager at both places. In her younger days she was a champion golfer and later played competitive tennis. She would take on any challengers, but was happy to play with all. She was an astute bridge player and loved a good laugh. Lynda was a devoted employee to all her clients and loved her work. Lynda is survived by her loving daughter, Molly, mother, Lillie Mae "Foster" Holladay; and Jack, her golden retriever. Lynda will be missed by all who knew her. She was a wonderful Mom and devoted friend and a true inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know her. A celebration of life service for Lynda will be held Saturday, January 13 at 11 o'clock a.m. at the Ansley Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite animal rescue shelter/organization or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
