Dear Callaway Family,
Sending our Deepest Condolences and Prayers to you. I remember when my mom (Hattie Andrews) was sick and shut in. We could count on Deacon Callaway like clock work, every first Sunday for communion. He would always pray with us and ask if there was anything he could do. Gone but not forgotten, an Angel for heaven.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. "
~Blessings~

I first became acquainted with Deacon Callaway while working with the mission. I was advised to request a few boxes from him and he brought back a car load of boxes! That seemed to be the way that he was-someone who displayed a quiet profound dignity, backed up with action rather than words: a shining example to us all and part of Deacon Callaway's legacy. My sympathy goes out to Sister Callaway and family. He will certainly be missed but God has another angel.
