CUE, Shanda SHANDA CUE Shanda Cue was born in East Orange, New Jersey to Lavon and Rosye Mae Thompson, and was the youngest of four siblings: Ronnie Lee Thompson, Gwendolyn Yvonne Thompson, Monica Winningham, and Kelaine Little. Shanda went to Elmwood Elementary, Vernon I. Davey Junior High and East Orange High School, where she participated in the Upward Bound Program, which eventually led to her long and successful career with the FBI. She began as a File Clerk in the Newark office in 1991, and rapidly rose from Duplicating Equipment Operator to Office Automation Clerk. After becoming a Secretary, she moved to Miami, FL, returned to Newark, and finally settled in Atlanta, GA. Her final series of promotions were to Mail and File Supervisor and Administrative Specialist. Education was very important to Shanda, who attended Kaplan University for both an Associate's (2006) and Bachelor's (2007) degrees in Paralegal Studies-Law Office Management. From Kennesaw State University, Shanda earned a Project Management Certificate (2007). Shanda was preceded in death by her parents Rosye and Lavon Thompson. She is survived by a host of relatives, including longtime partner Frederick Rock, daughter Jevonne Nayea Thompson, son Garrett Devote Cue; sisters Gwendolyn Thompson, Monica Winningham, and Kelaine Little and brother Ronnie Thompson; nieces Naomi Beverly, Keturah Beverly, Ajehzza Little, Ijaina Beverly, Veronica Beverly; nephews Yakim Winningham, Anthony Quinerly and Turon Thompson; many cousins., aunts and uncles (both natural and adopted) and close friend of 20+ years Felicia Shelton. Shanda has close friends up and down the East Coast, and the family thanks you for your love and support. Her memorial service will be held Sunday November 1, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Collins Funeral Home, 4947 N. Main St., Acworth, GA 30101.
