Family-Placed Death Notice

GORDON, Holliday Holliday Gordon passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church, 6740 James B. Rivers Dr., Stone Mountain, GA, Reverend Paul A. Elliott officiating, with interment at Honey Creek Woodlands. Holliday is preceded in death by parents John Coughlin Osborne and Nancy Miller Osborne. She is survived by husband Terry Gordon of Stone Mountain; daughter Hannah Stratton of Stone Mountain; stepmother Martha Lee Osborne of Knoxville, TN; sisters Laurie Osborne (John Beichman) of Oakland, ME, and Graham da Ponte of New Orleans, LA; brothers John Osborne (Caroline) and David da Ponte (Laura) of Knoxville, TN; and eight nieces and nephews. Holliday was born March 21, 1961, in Chicago, IL. She earned a BA at the University of Tennessee in 1983, a JD at Emory University School of Law in 1992, and an MLS at the University of Alabama in 1997. She had a distinguished career as a law librarian, most recently at the firm of Rogers & Hardin. Her knowledge, skill, energy, determination, and sense of humor will be missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.
