Ruth Machamer Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Mrs. Ruth June Machamer of Roswell, Ga. died on April 17, 2006. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio to Thomas and Gertrude Cleary, attended Bethany College and graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Zoology. She was also a member of the Alpha XI Delta Sorority. Pursuing a career in Medical Technology, she was employed and retired from Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga. Mrs. Machamer is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edward Machamer, two sons, Jay and Tom Machamer, two daughters, Debbie Hills and Meg Baer; seven grandchildren, Judd and Josh Hills, Tara, Erin, and Clinton Machamer, Charley and Madeline Baer. A Celebration of Ruth's Life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. with a visitation one hour before service at Sandy Springs Christian Church, 301 Johnson Ferry Rd. N.E. Atlanta, Ga. 30328. A reception will follow the service, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Ga. (770)993-4811. www.roswellfuneralhome.com
