Family-Placed Death Notice
BARNETT, Jewell Jewell Barnes Barnett, age 70, of Maysville, formerly of Gwinnett County, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Sunday, March 16, 2008 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Carpenter officiating. Graveside services will follow at Winters Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Doraville. Mrs. Barnett was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was preceded in death by her son, Martin David Barnett, July 29, 1956. She is survived by her husband of 52 years: M. D. Barnett; son: Rick and Elaine Barnett; daughters: Tami and Michael Cape, Tara and Mike Arp, Tessa and James Larson; eight grandchildren, Josh and Haley Barnett, John Brown, Amber Brown, Selena and Tim English, Kaila Arp, Kyler Arp, Kara Arp and Samuel Larson; great- grandchildren: Jackson and Hayden Barnett; brother: Alec and Linda Barnes, Lawrenceville; sister, Sara Owens, Sugar Hill; several nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends from 10 AM - 9 PM Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045, 770-962-3100.
