Virginia "Ginger" Kaderabek

1953 - 2015

KADERABEK, Virginia Virginia "Ginger" Quinn Kaderabek, a resident of Decatur, Georgia passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on December 7, 2015. Ginger was the much loved daughter of Virginia Quinn Kaderabek (father Roy is deceased). Her mother, sister Anne Kaderabek and close friends were by her bedside. She is also survived by half-sister Molly K. Peterson (Frank) and family and beloved dog, Mr. Peabody. Ginger was born in Clarendon Hills, Illinois on November 1, 1953 and lived in many parts of the country with her family before entering Vanderbilt as a National Merit Scholar at 16. While there she was Managing Editor of The Hustler. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, she worked for the Nashville Banner, Emory University, Georgia Power and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations. She was a freelance writer and web site designer. She loved reading, writing, art, cooking, trivia, Buffy and her family and many many friends. She will be dearly missed.
