Family-Placed Death Notice
DUCKSWORTH, Andrew Andrew Theodore Ducksworth, of Cumming, GA, passed away on October 23, 2012. Born in Slidell, LA, he is predeceased by his father, Clifton; brother, Vincent. Andrew is a graduate of Southern University where he became an active member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He worked as a Network Engineer for Northrop Grumman. Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Fauvette Ducksworth; sons, Isaiah and Jayden; mother, Theoclaire Ducksworth; brother, Clifton, Jr.; sister, Selika Ducksworth-Lawton; mother-in-law, Barbara Broussard. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at St. Divid's Episcopal Church in Roswell, GA. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:30 PM on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Houston, TX. Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.mcdonaldandson.com. Andrew was a great person. He was a wonderful person to work with at ActiveGroup and although I had not seen him for a number of years I always considered him a friend.
My children, who are now 15 and 18 remember going into his office when they were much younger. They knew him as the guy with the "little pool table" on his desk and the "reindeer that dispenses jelly beans". He always had a kind word for them.
He was a tireless worker and would go out of his way to help you. He loved his family, his fraternity and New Orleans and he will be missed.
