I was saddened to hear of Mr. Victor's passing, for many years we had the honor to speak with him at the Atlanta Motor Speedway during our Nascar broadcasts, he would tell some war stories on the air and was a delight to listen to. He will be missed. The family remains in my thoughts and prayers through this most difficult time.

Our condolences to you Ruth and family on Walter's passing. He was a dear friend to me. We have all lost a legend who was a great America citizen who served his country proudly and was duly recognized for his service. His accomplishments as the Braves photographer speak for themselves. Also let us not forget at one time he was also the photographer for the Hawks and Falcons! Well done Walter. You are a hero and an inspiration to all of us.

I grew up a few houses down the street from the Victors in East Point. I remember Mr. Victor always be a nice gentlement to us. My condolences to the family upon your loss.

Ms. Ruth, we are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Victor was such an amazing and brave man. I always enjoyed talking with Mr. Victor every time we met. Mr. Victor was a master at repairing my VW car many years ago. Many times he came to my rescue when I had car trouble. I lost touch when he moved from East Point. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends: he was a very kind and dependable man. May he rest in peace.

Dearest Aunt Ruth, Tony Van, Tommy, Ann Margaret, and All Our Cousins, What precious memories we have of our visits and conversations, adventures and new experiences with you. Uncle Walter was a rare man, not afraid of anything, never acting his age, and accomplished in so many fields (not only on the baseball one!) He is the one who reminded me the most of his sister, my dear grandmother, who had energy, pride in accomplishments, kindness, enthusiasm, a positive just-do-it attitude.
