Family-Placed Death Notice

Michael Boland age 41 of Villa Rica, GA died September 25, 2005. Mike and his wife, Tori owned and operated convenience stores in the Carroll County area. Surviving are his wife, Tori Densmore Boland, daughter, Amanda Loyce Boland, mother, Peggy Boland, brother, Tom Boland, sisters, Patti Boland and Jean Boland. Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 29 at 11 o'clock at All Saints Catholic Church, Dunwoody, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 8111 Club, 8111 Roswell Road, Atlanta, GA 30350. Visitation Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 at H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel 4550 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, GA 30319 (404 261 3510)

Mike was absolutely one of my favorite people ever. He and I met at 8111 in 97' and shared a lot of laughs and heartbreaks. He eminated kindness and love. He helped a lot of people and his smile was infectious. May you take some comfort in the knowledge that he is at peace and in union with his higher power.

Dear family,

I can recall one of the first times I ever met Mike...it was at a 4th of July picnic and he was with several people-all of whom were 'winners' in this program of ours. It was my first week and I can recall looking up to him at that time and thinking-wow will I ever be like that? He embodied strength, courage, equanimity, compassion for others and a passion for this life. His exuberance, zest for life and contagious smile & laughter are what I will carry as my memory of him. He was a wonderful person and a very human child of God and my prayers and heart go out to all of you who will feel his abscence the most. I derive comfort knowing he is at peace with God now. It was very sad hearing about Mike. Over the years, I have thought about him and the fun things we did back there at Thornhedge Estates. The memories are especially strong when I visit the old neighborhood and tell my family about the people that lived there.

While I didn't know Mike as a man, I enjoyed his company as a young man.

I send my best wishes to Mrs. Boland and Mike's brother and sisters. Also to his family who are going through tough times.

Michael was a dear friend and encourager to me, and I will miss him and remember him always. He loved his wife and family so very much. He adored his daughter Mandy. He was a friend to many, and I consider him a gift from God. He sought after God, and lives in the comfort of His presence now.

(Ephesians 1:13-14- And you were included in Christ when you heard the word of Truth...Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance...)

Psalm 61 is so perfect for our Michael. I will write it separately.

In John 10:27-30 Christ says - "I give them eternal life & they will never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand."

I loved Michael, and I send love and encouragement to all his family and friends.
