Family-Placed Death Notice
DYE, Bobbie MRS. BOBBIE C. DYE Mrs. Bobbie C. Dye, 83, died Sunday, March 29, 2009. She was a 61 year member of Peachtree Christian Church of Atlanta. Mrs. Dye was an active member of the "Priscilla" group and the "Keenagers" group of the church. Mrs. Dye worked for over 20 years as an Office Manager for the Cyclone Fence division of US Steel Corporation. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bridge. Mrs. Dye was a caring, loving, Christian Mom, Mother, and Mimi. She was the epitome of a Christian woman in whose footsteps anyone would want to follow. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Charles Edwin Dye; parents, James Paul and Alice Mary McBrayer of Cumming; brother James Hoyt McBrayer of Macon; sisters, Margaret Walker of Atlanta, Georgia Inez McBrayer of Cumming, Mildred Guy McBrayer of Atlanta. Her survivors include; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald E. and Amy R. Dye; daughter, Charlene Dye Ansley; grandchildren, Cara Jacquelin Ansley of Snellville, Nicole K. Dye and her husband Jerry O'Keefe of Sandy Springs, Wesley R. Dye and wife Stacy of Sandy Springs; sister, Ruth Summerlin, Ocean Springs, MS.; and her favorite niece, Beverly Moore. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Peachtree Christian Church, 1580 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, 30309, with Reverend Jim Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328.

We want to express our condolences over the loss of your Mother. She was a dear, sweet Christian lady & wonderful neighbor. We felt fortunate living next door to the four of you in the 1960's & early 1970's. We still remember yow caring & kind Bobbie was.
