Sheyla Gomez
June 20, 2011
Our deepest sympathy. We had the privilege to know Bill Hoff and Dorothy for many years. They were two great human beings and we loved them. I, Sheyla Gomez, met them as a child when my father, Jose A. Gomez, used to work for him at Holsum while at PR and continued close relationship for many years. At my twenties, we stayed at their home in GA with my parents and had a great time. I remember Bill Hoff's sense of humor saying one day "let's exercise" and all of the sudden he was moving his fingers and saying "1,2, 3." My father always followed-up with them and noticed that Dorothy's phone number had been disconnected. This prompted me to find out only to realize with sadness that we had lost Dorothy although we know she is with our Lord. My father would like to communicate with Bill Hoff Jr. My father's phone number is 787-220-9648. Blessings to the family, Sheyla Gomez.

Our sincere condolences to the family. I believe that I am a Roosevelt classmate of Bill Jr. when he lived in Des Moines. He was also the bass player in my band and I have some surprises for him if he will contact me. Please have him e-mail me at [email protected]
Thank you

My condolence to you and your family. I have wonderful memories of your Mom. Her love of parakeets and the wonderful lobster meals. So glad she had a small part in my life. Sincerely Sandy(Beck) Morris (DeMotte. In)

When I told our mother, Marilyn Beck, of Dorothy's passing – she commented on the many good times that our Father (Sam) and herself had with Dorothy and Bill when they lived in Des Moines.
She also told of the trip to Washington DC many years ago, and the Hoff's showed them the sights.
Marilyn expressed condolences to Bill Jr
