Beverly Joyce Hill Craig, devoted wife, loving mother and unconditional friend, was granted peace on August 16, 2007 after an extended battle with breast cancer. Born March 14, 1937, Beverly enjoyed her childhood in Fulton, KY and her adult life in a number of locations in the U.S. and throughout the world as the wife of Captain David C. Craig, whom she married September 5, 1959. Mrs. Craig attended Southwestern University in Memphis, TN where she became a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She transferred to the University of Kentucky, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Vocal Performance in 1959. An active member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Beverly was a Lay Eucharist Minister and a member of the Daughters of the King. A beautiful and caring person throughout her life, she always put the need of others before her own. Her passion for living, her courageous spirit and unending love will be greatly missed. Beverly is survived by her husband, David her daughter, Robin; one niece, one nephew, two grand-nieces and two grand-nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Snellville from 5 PM-8 PM. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Snellville on Sunday, August 19, 2007, at 2 PM.
