Gloria Tuttle Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

Gloria (Sands) Tuttle passed away August 1, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Gloria was born August 30, 1935, in Miami, FL. After graduation, she joined the U.S. Air Force in 1955. She and her husband, USAF Maj. William C. Tuttle, spent 23 years in the U.S. Air Force before retiring and relocating to Lilburn, GA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years and survived by a son and daughter. Services will be 11:00 AM, August 6 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, GA, 770-972-3155. Donations may also be given to Atlanta Humane Society. Gloria will be truly missed by all who had the fortune to know her.

I often think about Bill and Gloria. I was on active duty and knew Bill and his highly gifted wife and their son and daughter. Bill and Gloria loved motorcycle riding. One of her brothers taught me how to scuba dive. Both were very caring and loving friends.
